Winter Wonderful DVD Review and Giveaway

Today we are sharing four fun DVDs with you and at the end of the post there is a giveaway for all four!! Thank you to NCircle Entertainment for providing these DVDs.

The first DVD is one of Hazel's favorite shows: The Octonauts. This DVD is the Pirate Adventures. It features seven episodes with Kwazii taking lead as a pirate. He even comes face-to-face with his long lost grandfather, Pirate Calico Jack. The episodes also teach about the Amazon, sword fish, leafy sea dragons, eels, parrotfish, sailfish and combtooth blenny. As always we find each episode fun and educational. Hazel loves learning about the sea life!

The next DVD is Pocoyo: Fiesta. This DVD features the adorable Pocoyo and his friends singing thirteen songs and dancing. They have a birthday party for Elly, a big race and so much more. Hazel loves Pocoyo although she does not watch him very much. She really enjoyed this hour long DVD and it reminded her how much she likes Pocoyo. Although it is called Fiesta, they refer to it as party time on the DVD in English. 

Our next DVD is the soon-to-be released The Wiggles: Wiggle House. This DVD is being released on the 24th. Hazel still really enjoys The Wiggles. She loves the music and the dancing. One thing I really liked about this DVD is they introduced a bit of Indian culture into it with a special guest. They talk about her sari and they sing a song about Indian culture. Hazel also loves that they have Emma Wiggle now. She brings a bit of the girly girl to the show. Another big hit in our house.

Our final DVD is the newly released Wibbly Pig! Playtime! It is based on the best-selling books by Mick Inkpen. This DVD has six stories on it and a bonus sing-along songs. The stories seemed a bit too young for Hazel to me, but she enjoyed them. The show is on the Sprout Channel, and they have some activities on their website including Wibbly Piggly Squiggly which goes along with the first story on the DVD. I think the part with the clay would be the perfect activity to go with the story.
