It has been awhile since I shared some of our doll finds and our dolls' adventures. Hazel received many fun gifts for Christmas and her birthday to use with her dolls including a car and a camper. She is loving them!! Today I am going to share a few other things. First some fun and inexpensive finds!! Let's start with some Gymboree hair clips. We found these fun Snowflake Clips 2-Pack in the clearance bin for $1.99 for two clips (a white and a pink one). Mimi is modeling the pink one, though I need to get her hairbrush out again.I found a pack of two canning jar shot glasses for $1 at Rite Aid. They are the perfect size for the girls to do their canning. Another fun find were these mini pan pipes. Hazel is about to play a song for us. I found them for 59 cents for a pack of two in the clearance bins at Christmas Tree Shops. They are meant as party favors. Then I found a set of beer goggles to put on a beer bottle to keep track of which one is whose. They are almost doll size, but do not go over their heads. Ginger is all set to go to the pool now. I also bought a small garland on clearance at Target, but cannot remember where I put it.
Our final cheap find starts a bit of a story. Hazel and Mimi are playing Connect Four (party favor from the Dollar Tree) while it is raining out,
but they really want to use the tickets they have to go to the State Fair. I got the Our Generation State Fair set at Target last week when Our Generation was buy two get one free and we bought a doll for a gift and the RV camper accessory set to go with Hazel's camper so we got it for free. They even have tickets they won at school for doing so well at the spelling bee.
Once the sun came out, the girls were off. They couldn't wait to use their tickets on the rides. After their rides they needed a snack. First Hazel quenched her thirst with a cola and Mimi cooled down with an ice cream cone.
Then they decided to get corn dogs, peanuts and cotton candy later. First they wanted to do some of the fun games. Mimi wanted to try the sack race. Hazel wanted to try the egg and spoon race. Then they both tried to win more ride tickets at the bean bag toss.
Last year we had a lot of fun making Easter baskets for our dolls. We also used party supplies for the dolls and have a few posts on cheap finds for dolls: August 2014, March 2015. For even more doll ideas check out:
