In New England this has been a bit of a nasty spring. We have had a couple of snowfalls in April and lots of cloudy and cold days. I keep waiting for spring to really be here and crave some sunshine. Luckily BloomsyBox entered my life. BloomsyBox offers three choices of monthly subscriptions to have beautiful handpicked flowers delivered to your door. They even have weekly and bi-weekly subscriptions. Perfect for businesses or families who always need/want beautiful flowers displayed.
Three weeks ago I received a BloomsyBox. The time was perfect. It was right inbetween snowstorms. I needed a bit of cheerfulness in my life.
When I first opened the box the flowers look a bit unhealthy. However there is information about them and how to revive them. They also provide information about the kind of flowers that have been shipped. All their bouquets are single variety.
We got beautiful yellow alstroemerias. Within a few days our flowers looked like this.
I was also very excited to get to use one of my tall vases that I got at my bridal shower. I tend not to buy long stemmed flowers so I don't use them very often. After two weeks the flowers looked like this. Hazel added her long stemmed gerber daisy that she got at the Mother Daughter Tea Party at her school that weekend.
Aren't they absolutely beautiful? They bring a smile to my face every time I see them. They are like a little bit of sunshine in our grey days. And the best part--it has been three weeks and they still look beautiful. A few petals have dropped but not many. I took this picture last night.
So if you want a bit of sunshine in your life or to gift it to someone be sure to check out BloomsyBox. It is such a pleasant surprise to see a box of flowers at your house waiting for you. They also have single time orders in case you are sending your mom some flowers for Mother's Day!! Although imagine her joy of getting flowers each month instead of just once. I would love to hear about your flowers if you order them!!
