It has been a relaxing Friday for me and thus this post is so late. I have been enjoying some vacation time with my parents on Cape Cod. Today however I am sharing with you the latest coloring book from Johanna Basford, Magical Jungle.
This new book was released this week!! And I have to say I love it!! This may be my favorite one yet. The pages are fun and have all sorts of animals in them. Some are a bit hidden and others are quite obvious like this hippopotamus.
There are pages that look like medallions.
The pages are double sided for the most part but are a good quality without bleeding through. The pictures are fun and allow the artist to be whimsical or realistic.
There are a variety of styles of pictures and really has something for everyone.
Overall I have to say I have been really enjoying this book and I even let Hazel start coloring in it this morning. She has been having fun with these flamingos.
I can see why Johanna Basford's Secret Garden was such a hit that began the adult coloring craze. The Magical Jungle takes the same style pictures in a jungle setting and they are so fun. There are some that are more complicated and others that are easy to do in a sitting.
As you can see from the pages we have been working on there is great variety and they are so fun. I hope you will check it out and start relaxing this weekend with me!!
