I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and is ready for Halloween. We finally had our It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown party today. Here are some pictures from our set up. We had a table set for crafts and Bingo. The girls played smash the pumpkins at our balloon pumpkin patch as well as Bingo and relay races. Then there was a popcorn bar to have some popcorn while watching the DVD of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. They had a blast and it was such an easy party to set up and clean up. I gave each girl a brown lunch bag a little more than half filled with popcorn with butter on it.
Tonight we are sharing a fun book by Courtney Sanchez called DIY Box Creations. This box has some great ideas for using large boxes!!
Now I did not have time to try any of the projects (much to Hazel's disappointment). I just brought the large boxes I have been gathering to her school for the Veteran's Day collection for the soldiers. However she has a long wish list from this book. The book has twelve great projects to make.
Now Hazel would love the lemonade stand, the dollhouse, the sailboat, the puppet theater,... Now I made her a primitive cardboard box stove ages ago, but the one in this book is amazing in comparison.
Now the fort is pretty amazing. I love the decorations and everything!!
What child wouldn't want this? The puppet theater is pretty amazing as well.
All of the ideas are just as wonderful. My only issue is that our house is not big enough for all the ones that Hazel wants. This is a great book for anyone who wants to make some great projects for their kids. These are the type of projects that would make great holiday gifts as well. Be sure to check out this great book!!
