What makes a mama happy? What makes you happy as a mama? It really depends on the mama and the day for most of us. This book takes a look at the different times of the day and different mamas -- both human and animal. There are definitely different things that make mamas happy like feeding their babies, teaching their babies, feeling proud of their babies, playing with their babies, cuddling their babies and more. The illustrations are beautiful and brings in many various animals: pandas, kangaroos, wolves, owls and more. This book gives the child the message of how much his or her mother loves him or her. It is for younger kids (ages 3-6). We enjoyed this sweet book even if it is for younger kids. Hazel always loves books with adorable animals in it and this one definitely has that. Needless to say we really enjoyed it! I know reading it brought back happy memories of spending time with Hazel. It makes one reflect on motherhood and what really makes you happy.
