Disclosure: Kregel Publications sent me this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Back in March I reviewed Colour in Peace. Today I am going to share Colour in Peace Postcards illustrated by James Newmann Gray. The postcard version is just as relaxing and beautiful. Each page has a picture to color on the front and on the back it has a quote or verse of scripture and the regular form of a postcard back.
The pictures on the postcards vary with birds, flowers, trees, garden gates and more. The quotes are from Lyndon B. Johnson, Henry Miller, St. Francis of Assi, and St. Frances de Sales.
The pages are thick like postcards you buy. There is no worry about bleeding through it. I used various gel pens and markers on them and had no problem.
I love having something to color that is useful. Now I have to decide who to mail the first one and finishing coloring some more. I also love the size of them since it makes it a bit more manageable to get them done. The one below I didn't like how the pens I was using was looking so I'm going to play with some other tools to check it out.
What have you been coloring lately?
