Are you ready for the adventure of your life? Are you daring enough to try this new ride? It is not like any ride you have ever been on, and if you ride it more than once the experience will be completely different. Four lucky preteens have won a contest to be the first to try CastleCorp's new adventure machine. Their parents are wondering if it safe and the kids are wondering what it will be like. This is the premise for this exciting new book: The World's Greatest Adventure Machine by Frank L. Cole.
About the book (from the publisher):
The writing is wonderful and the story is interesting and engaging. Hazel looked at the cover and was interested. I think she is hoping I'll let her read it next. 🙂 This is not her usual genre but I think she will enjoy it as well. It is a mystery adventure and you are always wondering what will happen next. So come join me in this adventure, won't you?

My Review:
This book draws you in immediately. First you are meeting each of the contestants and get a glimpse into their lives and see they each have unique special characteristics. One can sense what is happening or about to happen. Another is a young genius--off the scales. Another does not feel fear and so forth. Their personalities and issues draw you right in. Then there is the whole mystery behind this new machine. What is it really? Is it real? Is it really just a machine or is it alive? Why do the riders need to wear special protective suits? The questions keep growing as you read. This book has it all--adventure, drama, mystery, emotion and life. It will draw in males and females. Only one of the riders is female though. I can see middle grade kids really enjoying this book and having a hard time putting it down. The writing is wonderful and the story is interesting and engaging.
