Today we are starting something special. Hazel is going to be writing some of the reviews for me! So here is Hazel's Corner!!
Since this is my first real review I will tell you a little bit about myself. I am ten and in fourth grade. I love all subjects, and some of my favorite animals are birds, especially flamingos and owls. I play the violin.

Disclosure: We were sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Welcome to Crafty Weekends!! Life here has been busy, but I have exciting news. Starting tomorrow Hazel is an official writer/book reviewer here at Crafty Moms Share. Since I have gotten so behind on my reviews and many of the books are for Hazel's age level (or younger) she is going to start writing her own reviews. The first one will be published tomorrow!! So please come check it out!
Today we are sharing a book that is written for tweens. It is from our favorite kids' sewing series--Sewing School. This one is Sewing School Fashion Design by Amie Petronis Plumley and Andria Lisle.

Books about Poetry and More
Disclosure: Candlewick Press sent me a copy of these books in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Did you know April is National Poetry Month? In honor of that I thought I would share three books that involve poetry. All three books are from Candlewick Press. Have you discovered them yet? I love their books. They are always amazing quality in product as well as the writing. I have never been disappointed by one of their books. The first book is What is Poetry: The Essential Guide to Reading & Writing Poems by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Jill Calder.

Easter Eggs Around the World
This year for the Multicultural Kid Blogs Easter Around the World Blog Hop I thought I would focus on an aspect of Easter instead of Easter in a specific country. I chose to look at Easter eggs.
Bullseye Quilts -- a Crafty Weekends Review & Link Party
Disclosure: C&T Publishing sent me this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own! I will receive a small stipend for purchases made through the links in this post. Thank you for supporting Crafty Moms Share!
Tonight I am sharing a fun Bullseye Quilts from Vintage to Modern by Becky Goldsmith. Have you ever seen a bullseye quilt. They are amazing! This book makes it relatively easy to make one by using paper piecing.

Mommy Time Christian Books Review
Disclosure: I was sent a copy of each of these books in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
We have had a bit of a crazy couple of weeks. I find it is always good to give myself some mommy time when life gets chaotic--especially mommy time with Jesus. Today I am going to share two devotionals and a novel with you!! These are perfect books to help you find some mommy time. Let's start with the new novel. It is A Hero for Miss Hatherleigh by Carolyn Miller and is the first in the Regency Brides Daughters of Aynsley series.
