Finger Knitting for Kids Review

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Today I am going to share a fun craft book for kids aged 7 to 12. It involves finger knitting. Finger knitting is a fun activity for kids. We learned about it back when we attended classes at the Waldorf School. All they need is some yarn. Today I am sharing Finger Knitting for Kids: Super Cute & Easy Things to Make by Eriko Teranishi.

This book teaches how to finger knit and it also has very creative projects in it to use finger knitting for useful things. I love how fun the crafts are, and I haven't seen them other places.

It starts with the simple scarf which is a perfect beginner project. I made one for Hazel. This project is easy because it is just doing the actual finger knitting.

The next project is a circle scarf or an infinity scarf. It is easy because you take the straight scarf and connect the ends.

The projects go from there. Many involve sewing strips together to make something bigger. Some are purses, blankets, pillows and more. One of my favorite projects however is the hair scrunchies.
You actually finger knit around the elastics. They also have some with flowers and bows. I haven't tried any of these yet but they look fun.

This book has so many fun projects and ideas in it and kids can make them on their own. The instructions are very easy to follow and the ideas are fresh. I hope you will check it out.
