The weather has been beautiful here and I didn't get around to doing my Mommy Time Post on Friday. However I did finish my puzzle so I want to share it with you today instead. The puzzle is Let the Sun Shine In by Irene Smit, Astrid van der Hulst, and Editors of Flow magazine and illustrated by Anisa Makhoul and has 1,000 pieces.
This puzzle is perfect for me. It has a positive message and looks like it is about crafts. That is a win-win for me. In the past I shared some of the benefits of doing puzzles. During this pandemic I have turned to my love of puzzles to give me some calm and quiet me time. Sometimes I sit and work on them with the television on and other times I just work on them. Sometimes Steve or Hazel will help for a bit but usually they leave them for me to do on my own. This puzzle was a fun one.
This is a high quality puzzle. The pieces are a good thickness and the back side of the pieces even has a design (little blue dashes). I will admit I had trouble with the border and the background. However I kept working and it came together nicely. Hazel did help some with it as well.
The puzzle comes with a picture to follow as well as the front of the box. At times I found this very useful because I used both box parts to help separate the pieces by color/area of the puzzle.
