Disclosure: I was sent this puzzle in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Yesterday I felt like I wanted to work on a puzzle. I went to my puzzle pile and decided to put together Dare to Dream 1,000-Piece Puzzle by Astrid van der Hulst, Irene Schmidt, and Editors of Flow Magazine. I chose this puzzle because I thought I could put it together pretty quickly and wanted to review it today.
I love the picture on this puzzle. It has such a fun message and is a mindfulness puzzle. I wish I had a place like this to go read a book and dream. How about you? I don't even need the monkey or zebra! I have reviewed two other puzzles by Astrid, Irene and the editors of Flow Magazine, so I knew the quality of the puzzle and I love them! The pictures are always beautiful as well. I started by separating the pieces based on background color and of course the edge pieces. I put all the pieces for the zebra together as well. The edge pieces went together rather quickly for me.
After I did the edges I started working on the red rug area and discovered working on the plants really moved the puzzle along. I worked for about eight hours yesterday. When I went to sleep this is how much I got done! I only went to sleep because it was late and if I didn't go to sleep then I wouldn't be able to get up to take Hazel to school.
After about an hour today, I completed the puzzle. So it took me about nine hours total. These puzzles always come with a small picture of the completed puzzle which I love having because the words and logos on the box cover up some of the picture.
These puzzles also have a slight print on the back side of the puzzle pieces. I find these puzzles to be of great quality as well. I am very happy with my finished puzzle. I have it out to show Hazel. I know she would love a reading nook like the one pictured in the puzzle.
I have to admit it felt so good to work on the puzzle and turn my brain off to everything else. It is always so relaxing and I highly recommend it. This puzzle is an adult puzzle but it definitely could be done by a young adult or tween. I hope you will check it out and be sure to take some time to dream today!
