About the Author:
This book is about the sweet dog named Clare. Clare is introduced throughout the book doing different things that always rhyme with her name. This book is written for people who are learning English and the words and pictures are fun. Lindy Nelson lives in China and the pictures in the book also show this. When Clare is staring at her owner eating with despair, the owner is eating with chopsticks. Throughout the book there are pieces of the Chinese culture especially in the illustrations. For those who already know English may enjoy the look at the Chinese culture and discuss it with the younger kids! This book is so cute and fun. I hope you will check it out!
