Nature Anatomy Birds Jigsaw Puzzle

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this puzzle in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Now if you have been reading my blog for awhile you may know that I am a bird lover. During the pandemic I developed a love of birdwatching and kept adding new feeders to my yard. In the summer of 2020 I did an entire series of animals in my backyard including many birds. I fell in love with the female cardinal. She never gets the time the male does, but has her own beauty. Today I get to share a jigsaw puzzle featuring birds. It is Nature Anatomy Birds 500-Piece Puzzle by Julia Rothman.

From the Publisher:

With 195,000 copies in print, Julia Rothman's charmingly illustrated Nature Anatomy has an avid following among curiosity seekers, nature enthusiasts, design fans, homeschooling families, and curious learners of all ages. The Nature Anatomy: Birds Puzzle offers all these fans a chance to try their hand at this 500-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring a selection of Rothman's colorful illustrations of birds, nests, feathers, and more.

From Me:

Now I usually do jigsaw puzzles that have 1,000 pieces, so this one was on the easy side for me. However, I love birds so I couldn't wait to do this one. The first time I did it I sat in front of the television for a few hours and completed it. I thought I took photos of it, but could not find them to write my review, so I brought it with me on vacation and did it in one evening again. It is a fun but relatively easy puzzle to put together. The quality of the puzzle is very good. The pieces stay together even with moving the puzzle around a bit. I tried to get it in the best lighting for taking photos and moved it around on the table quite a bit.

I love how the birds are labeled as well as the eggs and some of the feathers. It truly shows differences in environment, nests and more. Plus, the blue grosbeak has its parts labeled to teach even more about the birds. Inside the box besides the puzzle pieces is a photo of the complete puzzle (minus the piece borders). This photo is important when getting the lower left corner together since the photo on the box is covered by the title. Overall, this is a beautiful puzzle and fun to put together. It also helps educate the puzzle doers about birds. I hope you will check it out!
