This week for our Back to School with National Geographic Kids we are sharing a fun new book about space. To go with our book review, we are sharing a round-up of crafts, activities, lessons and more all about space for different ages. Our book is Can't Get Enough Space Stuff by Stephanie Drimmer and Julie Beer. It is recommended for ages 7 to 10.

From Me:

Do you have space fanatics at home or in your classroom? This book is for them! It is full of photographs, fun facts, silly jokes, and so much more. There are fun quizzes like "Which planet are you?" as well as information about our solar system, black holes and so much more. It also goes into things like the International Space Station and what life is like on it. It is full of fun that any space fanatic will love!

This book is recommended for slightly younger kids than many of the National Geographic Kids books. I think that is appropriate with the silliness of the jokes and quizzes. However, the book also has plenty of serious things in it. I know the kids will love the amazing photographs and will be laughing or perhaps rolling their eyes at the "Space Sillies" which are the pages of jokes. There are even some activities like going out and looking at the night sky and drawing what you see over several hours. So if you know someone who is ready for a spacewalk, be sure to get this book!!
