Disclosure: I was sent these calendars for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
As November hits I start thinking about calendars for the next year. We get many in the mail from various charities, but I really like ones that match our personalities, likes and mood for each year. My wall calendars from last year have added so much to my sewing room (Tea Pot Calendar) and classroom. My students and I talk about the different birds featured each month. My Page-A-Day calendars for 2024 were loved during the last school year but I am finding most of the kids ignore them this year although every once in a while, someone takes the Sudoku page to do the puzzle. This year I decided to only focus on wall calendars. I fell in love with A Calendar of Calm Wall Calendar 2025 with photographs by Ana Marques, and I knew Hazel would love Forever & Always: A Calendar Inspired by Taylor Swift Songs with images by Reese Faith Designs. These are the two I picked for us, but they have so many to choose from. Be sure to check out all the options at Workman Calendars. It is really great that they are not wrapped in plastic anymore! Workman has gone completely plastic free with their calendars!

From Me:
With so much going on this year I decided to try this calendar with calm and beautiful photographs as well as words about calm or calming sounds, things, etc. and a quote on each month. The pictures all seem to be the pastel colors of pink, blue and a bit of lavender. They are my favorite colors! I absolutely love the photographs.
Each month features the usual calendar items like the last and next month in miniature, the various holidays from around the world. I love that it even has the heritage months labeled on the first of the month. It has daylight savings time as well as holidays for most religions as well as the various holidays observed in other parts of the world (Canada, New Zealand, UK, and Australia).
I am thinking I will keep this one for my sewing room and not share it with my students. I am a bit torn though since I see the calendar in my classroom more often.

From Me:
Hazel is a huge Taylor Swift fan. We had planned to see her in concert last month but with Hazel's new school the concert was on family weekend and the musical performance weekend. We decided Hazel needed to be at school for that. We sold our tickets and hotel room to a friend of a friend and got our money back for that part at least. Hazel doesn't like to talk about it, but she has handled it like a trooper. She hasn't mentioned to me that Sabrina Carpenter performed at the show we would have been at. She loves Sabrina Carpenter as well. Needless to say, I picked this calendar for Hazel. She has been wanting many different Taylor Swift themed posters for her dorm room so I thought this calendar would fit right in.
I showed it to Hazel this weekend when she was home. She said she liked that some of the songs featured are not the most popular ones. It gives the calendar some uniqueness. There are also many special features in the calendar. We will start with every month 13 is pink where the other dates are black. We all know 13 is Taylor's favorite number. Besides the usual holidays this calendar also marks some special dates like the birthdays of Taylor's cats, anniversaries of awards Taylor won as well as the anniversaries of album releases. It truly is the perfect calendar for a huge Taylor Swift fan!
It also has the heritage months labeled on the first day of the month and the holidays from the United States and other countries (same as above) as well as the various religious holidays. The photographs are fun and go with the songs without being obnoxious about it.
I love the uniqueness of this calendar and think it would make a great gift for any Taylor Swift fan!
The quality on both calendars is great! The pages are glossy and just thick enough that you won't worry about tearing or rips when you hang them. I love the overlap flap you cut off when ready to use and the fact that there is not plastic waste. I also love the size of the squares for each day. They allow you to write in due dates, appointments, etc. I hope you will check out the calendars over at Workman and consider buying the perfect one for you and maybe some as a gifts this holiday season!
