This book is one that pulls you in right away. The action is intense, and the story is interesting. Logan is looking to prove mythical creatures are real and he is willing to do just about anything to prove it. The entire storyline is so creative and well written. Logan has had a tough life. His father wanted to prove mermaids exist, but no one believed him, and he went a little crazy trying to prove it. Then on a fateful night Logan witnesses a green mermaid (ugly and nothing like the mythical ones we think of) pull his father off the boat they were on and into the deep sea. No one believed Logan either. Now Logan is obsessed with proving mythical creatures are real. His adventures to prove it are amazing and thrilling.
The characters are well developed, and the reader feels for Logan. Logan's life at times seems crazy and unreal but the story is so fast moving and interesting you won't want to put it down. I can see many young adults and adults loving this story. It is action packed and full of curious things and keeps the reader guessing and wondering. Logan and his team work together, and each is well developed so the reader feels for each one. It is a book you have to check out to truly understand what I mean about the story. Michael Okon is so creative and such an amazing writer!! I have never read anything like this.
